Wise Words

Wise words I read yesterday and I share today for building tomorrow:

Feed Something Else, an article by Robert M. Hamburger.

Two excerpts from the article linked above:

Modern society is engineered to harvest human attention. Fear sells. Rage spreads. Anxiety keeps people watching. Industries depend on keeping populations activated and divided. Every week brings a new emergency, a new villain, a new existential threat. The specifics change. The mechanism remains consistent. (Robert M. Hamburger)

Spend less time marinating in algorithmic outrage and more time building tangible life around you. Know your neighbors. Grow food. Support local farmers. Learn practical skills. Sit around real tables with real people. Create things. Raise children with discernment rather than dependency. Build small circles rooted in trust, competence, and shared values. (Robert M. Hamburger)

Hamburger's Stand (a very disturbing joke for me, but it is his family name) is on Substack, a place I started to visit at the ending of the Summer and where I do not post anything.
