Tomorrow in Paris - Hold on to your Friends
Paris, place de la République, 3rd October: vegan stands and L214 animal rights march supporting the end of the bloody business of the meat industry.
I am very disappointed that the Mairie de Paris and the Préfecture de Police have rescheduled the Animal Rights March and the Pride March on the same day: last Summer, both marches were cancelled, due to the extreme heat, but they were scheduled on different dates. I smell a vile attempt to limit the number of participants to these events, and especially to the Animal Rights March.
As for me, I am really sorry for my LGBTQI+ Friends: they can always rely on me, but tomorrow my Animal Friends will need my presence more.
The perfect song for this event: Meat is Murder, from The Smiths' album of the same title (1985).
Morrissey, how I dearly wish to hear you sing your beautiful song live!
