Do your best and don't worry

When Nothing seems to happen
And You're stuck on a Desert Island
There is Something coming along, and
You'll find it sooner than You imagine
So please, no more Tears
Falling down from Your Eyes:
Do Your Best and don't worry
If the Dawn seems to be late
And the Darkness is too heavy
When your Black Dog bites again
I hear You crying de profundis:
Through Your Voice I feel Your Pain
And It's running through my Veins
For I know well what It means
Since I was eight, sad and helpless
Life is never easy
When You feel too much, yet
It's worth the Journey
When You live and don't just exist
Hear my Whisper from the Distance:
Doom and Gloom will fade away
And remember when You're too Blue
That a True Friend always stays True.
To You, from your Loyal Friend

Poem above and photographs below by me, of course.

I always find Beauty everywhere I am, even at my workplace. I admire these beautiful roses, defying November's gloom with their lively colours and delicate scent.

In the half-light of the late afternoon, in my favourite Parisian park, today.

Morrissey & Alain Whyte, Do Your Best and don't worry, from the album Southpaw Grammar, released in 1995.
