A Pure Soul can be hurt,

But never soiled:

Her Wings stay strong

Among Turmoil -

Nevertheless,

They need to rest

In a Safe Place

For a little while

Poem above, whole article and photo below by me, of course.

Lavender is, indeed, a quiet and safe place for this Cabbage White (Pieris brassicæ) to rest and have some good nectar: to fly with an injured wing must be terribly exhausting - and I need to rest myself too, if I want to fly again, as this lovely and brave butterfly.

Vera "Earnest" da Pozzo,

AKA the "Anarkind" or the "Kind Anarchist".

Nowadays, in this cruel, clueless world ruled by arrogant, dishonest "cemented minds" and "spineless bastards", the happy few who dare to be kind, earnest, clever and brave are the 2.0. Nicola Sacco and Bartolomeo Vanzetti to the corporate slaves, but I do believe that kindness will save the world.

Three Morrissey's songs fitting to my mood:

I am Hated for Loving (music by Alain Whyte), from Vauxhall and I (1994)

Why don't You find out for Yourself (another brilliant composition by Alain Whyte), in the electric outtake version from the Vauxhall and I session (June-August 1993). I do love the album version, but the electric one fits better to my thoughts.

Spent the Day in Bed (music by Gustavo Manzur), lead single from the album Low in High School (2017), live version on "Later... with Jools Holland", BBC Two, 3rd October 2017.
