25th July 2026, Barcelona, Poble Espanyol, a sleepless night, a long day and still plenty of energies, waiting for another great show.
I jumped the barrier during the encore, even if I was aware it would have been in vain (the stage was too high just even to try to brush Morrissey's fingertips) because I wanted to prove to myself that I was not afraid, after the horrible experience in Asti.
Unfortunately, a Spanish local security guy helped me to jump the barrier just to try to throw me outside the venue. Why?
The German local security guys in the Spandau Zitadelle were honest: they told me "Nein! Nein! Nein!" and forbid me to jump the barrier, but at least they did not act unfairly, like the Spanish guy, and I could keep my place at the front.
Other Poble Espanyol's security guys acted badly, and even brutally, towards the young English lads who stood at my left and jumped the barrier after me.
I will always be grateful to the unknown Spanish lady who prevented the local security guy to throw me outside and helped me to stay behind the lateral barrier, just beside her, watching Morrissey on stage until the end of the concert: I was so moved by this unexpected act of kindness that tears ran on my cheeks.
It was three months ago - 91 days ago, more precisely - and I can't wait for December.
