Peace on Earth to Men and Women of Good Will

In the astounding Cathedral of Palermo, that Oscar Wilde admired just seven months before his death, a group of animal rights activists has done a flash-mob before Midnight Mass.

The placard says:

"Ogni creatura che nasce è sacra"

("Every born creature is sacred")

and I couldn't agree more.
