Nocturnal Fever

Heat outside

Fever inside

I cannot sleep

Into the deep

Of the very same bed

Where you laid dead

Like a morgue, the train

Gave me the stupid pain

Of a nasty Summer Flu

Which sticks me as Glue

And now this makes me feel

As I had a spoke on my wheel

Vera da Pozzo

Somewhere in the North of Italy

30th July 2026

Poem above and photo below by me. My room at night.

I hope this stupid Flu will be over soon.
