Bravo for braving it out at Riot Fest
Looking for news about Morrissey's concert at Riot Fest yesterday, I have found a very embarrassing article (a non-compte-rendu) written by someone who knows very little about Morrissey and his music and repeats ad nauseam the usual Moz-bashing topoi, as if the hostile message written on the fence of the Riot Fest was a "proof" that Morrissey should be banned, and implying that, if he is still invited at festivals and allowed to go on stage, it is "just" because he still has it.
The only informative part of this article are the quotes of Morrissey's banters (I always enjoy them as much as I enjoy his songs live) and two pictures from the gig.
Thanks to YouTube, I can watch a part of the concert, which has to be shortened because of the storm alert. I do not know the setlist and I do not want to check it on Morrissey-solo, but (God knows how) before clicking on the video of Irish Blood, English Heart, I knew that it was the encore. The crowd clearly enjoyed the concert.
Bravo for braving it out, Morrissey, despite the shitstorm raging more than the storm.
