Again

I felt You were here

Again

The first time was in Paris

Two years ago

The second time in Rome

Last year

And the third time in Paris

In January

Again

Between last Saturday

And this Monday

How is it possible?

How can it be real?

Still it is

Indeed

Again

Again

Again

Feeling your Presence

Thrice in just two Years

But when will I meet You

Around the Corner?

To YOU

Vera da Pozzo

An Italian in Paris

Paris, 3rd February 2026

Poem above and pictures above, taken last nigth, by me.

Notre-Dame has always seemed to me like a ghost made of stone. I absolutely do not believe in ghosts, spirits etc. outside of legends and literature and art inspired by them, but I have always found something quite intimidating in Notre-Dame's beauty and so I belated for two years my first visit of the oldest worldwide symbol of Paris - the more "recent" symbol being, of course, the uncontournable Eiffel's Tower.

The very first time I entered in Notre-Dame of Paris it was on Sunday's Epiphany: I attended the Mass and I saw the smiling Cardinal Lustiger, just few months before his retirement and two years before his death. Since then, three cardinals passed and they all will be forgotten.

I happened to be near Notre-Dame when the fire started, but this story is too long to talk about it now.
