Below, origami-like seagulls. I zoomed a lot when I took these pictures this morning, and I find quite interesting the effect that resulted, even if it is not perfect.

Other photographs taken by me this afternoon in my beloved Parisian park (great tits on two Sophora Japonica trees) and in Saint Jean-Baptiste de Belleville, one of my favourite Parisian churches.

I like spending some time in a quiet church when there is nobody else or just very few people: it is the best place and moment for meditating and praying.

But a quiet park is like, and often even better than a desert church: the Soul can talk and listen freely to the Beauty and the Good that God gives us.

And the Soul is an Immortal Bird.

Two pictures - taken by me yesterday - of the lovely lady quail in my beloved park. I discovered her two weeks ago and I am happy every time I see her. I gave her the name Nicetta, from "coturnice".

Below: these are not real birds, but I love them too. I would never put a bird in a cage, but these earrings is a nice way to express my love for these beautiful creatures.
