Sing your Life

Living in Paris, I have always dreamt of singing in a band and even forming one on my own, but I soon realized that there were and still are many obstacles to music projects, and not just the main one - i. e., how to live doing music:

1. Musical tastes are not easy to combine, even in a huge, cosmopolitan city like Paris.

2. There still are people who want to rock... in French, which is (désolée, mes amis français !) one of the most boring languages for rock, punk and tout ce qui bouge.

3. Bands already formed are not willing to have new members.

4. The age gap (too young or too old) is still a barrier.

5. The look and the outfit often count more than the rest.

6. Not everybody is willing to have a frontwoman or at least a female singer in their band.

7. But many musicians are very willing to have a frontwoman or a female singer... in their bed.
