Saint John the Baptist as a role model of Sincerity and Loyalty

I am a lapsed Catholic, grown up in a family where spirituality and rationality have always had an equal place and having a jewish-christian biblical culture was more important than going to the church every Sunday, and being a good person who does and says what is right was even more important.

John the Baptist is one of my favourite saints not just for his courage and virtue, but also for his sincerity and loyalty.

I am too tired to write more, so I will add some pictures to this short article.

I wonder what the priests of this church think of my unconventional prayers and messages left in the cannister, but I will never know because I leave my messages when nobody see me.

An artwork made by me this afternoon, where I have mixed the iconography of Saint John with the latin motto Nuda Veritas which inspired Gustav Klimt.
