Once again, I'm throwing my Arms around Paris

After having unconfortably stood for almost two hours in a crowded train during the first leg of my trip, i. e., from Somewhere in the North of Italy and Milan, and after having waited for the Frecciarossa Milano-Parigi praying and meditating in the tiny Station Chapel, very fittingly dedicated to Santa Maria del Cammino, I am now on my way to Paris. To come back again to the huge, crowded and noisy Milano Centrale Station was not as appealing as it was in July, when I had a very good reason to go there, but I have a job and tomorrow a new année scolaire will start for me, the Teacher least likely to: the Anarchist at heart who dares to be obstinately gentle and kind, earnest and witty, clever and human in a place where frustration, envy, stupidity, bitterness and bitchcraft reign because they are greatly valued by the Big Boss.

"C'est le monde à l'envers", as the French say; or, in Morrissey's words, a knockabout world full of crashing bores.

Anyway, I will enjoy, as always, to work with my teenage pupils, because young people deserve someone who has knowledge, skills and integrity and who cares for their intellectual and emotional development - of course, I know that it would not work with all my pupils, but the seeds could grow later.

But, first of all, I will enjoy being myself and living my life; work takes a lot of time, but it is just a small part of my life.

Santa Maria del Cammino.

You'll never walk alone.

Vegan tramezzino (Italian word invented by Gabriele d'Annunzio in order to replace the English antonym "sandwich"), abricot juice and a coffee that miserably failed to prevent me from falling asleep.

The Moon greets me at the Gare de Lyon.

[Some trouble in uploading my pictures: I will try again tomorrow]
