The poet's flower: Rosa canina, or dog rose or eglantine. Photo taken by me today, around noon, in my favourite Parisian park. As it was a bit windy, I put my hand on the branch in order to prevent the beautiful dog rose to oscillate too much while I was taking this picture.

A sprig of rosa canina was one of the gifts rewarding poets for their literary excellence during the Middle Age, at the Academy of Floral Games in France.

To YOU.
