Good Morning, and thank you for the photographs
I am the Teacher least likely to, the most original, clever, well-read, fair, kind, funny, patient and human my students could find (all these qualities are hardly to be found in the same individual and, without any false modesty, I do have all of them) but there are boring tasks I cannot escape from, as tests and corrections.
When I entered in the big Usine à gaz called Ministère de l'Éducation nationale, two dull formateurs pédagogiques warned the new teachers about the danger of the so-called constante macabre, according with, in every students group, at every test, a third of the class would have the best marks, another third would get passing marks, and the last third would get the worst marks.
As they pretended the constante macabre was scientifically proved, I asked for the formateurs to produce and to explain the scientific reasons why it should be so, but all they said was blurred and clueless, because it is just a biased theory based on the old French schools habit to split pupils in three groups: excellents, moyens and nuls. I do not remember the name of the pedagogist who invented the constante macabre law because it is better to forget him and his stupid theory. As for me, this has never happened and will never happen.

A coffee after a grande assiette de frites, my vegan rain-proof backpack and the small light green totebag I bought, last July, in an independent bookshop in Genoa, on my way back from Barcelona to Somewhere in the North of Italy.
Below: I cannot help writing a message to the students who draw something nice on their text sheet.

While taking a break, I looked for news from Morrissey and I found a new post with beautiful photographs taken by Ryan Lowry in Buffalo. Thank you!
And now, back to the chain, but I will soon be free from work, as the weekend starts.
Hallelujah!
[No, I will certainly not go and see the Pope]
