A bit of Sun through the Rain at Night

Thank you, Morrissey, for putting a bit of sun through the rain at night, in the City of Stone and Steel.

A new single from the album Make-up is a Lie is coming in ten days: Amazona, cover of the 1973 song by Roxy Music.

The whole post is on Morrissey Central (see the first link above) and a snippet of the cover by Morrissey is on YouTube (see the second link above) et it would have been cool if the photo by Ryan Lowry illustrating Morrissey's post was also used on YouTube for the snippet of Amazona.

To the small child I was, Roxy Music was more a name than a band: I was not even born at the time of their first five albums and all I can directly recall comes mostly from my cousin's records collection. He is my godfather and unfortunately he disliked The Smiths. [To be continued]

I know better Bryan Ferry's and Brian Eno's later work after Roxy Music split.
